01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the heart of Brampton, Basant Kulfi is a delightful ice cream shop that masterfully brings the rich traditions of Indian frozen desserts to life. Located at 10635 Bramalea Rd #8, this charming spot beckons both longtime fans of kulfi and adventurous newcomers eager to explore authentic, creamy indulgences.

Basant Kulfi’s menu is a vibrant celebration of flavors that delight the senses. Their extensive ice cream selection features beloved classics like Raj Bhog, Pista, Butter Scotch, and Chocolate alongside unique options such as Figwalnut, Billberry, and Gulkand — each crafted with remarkable depth and richness. The texture is consistently smooth and luscious, delivering a flavorful experience with every spoonful. Beyond traditional scoops, their milkshakes—priced at a reasonable CA$5.99—offer a refreshing and creamy twist, with standout choices like the Basant Special and Rose Shake that are perfect for those craving a cool, exotic treat. The kulfi varieties themselves are the real stars, especially the Dipped in Rabdi and Dry Fruit Delight options, offering a blissful balance of creaminess and sweetness.

Customers consistently praise the authentic and nostalgic flavors Basant Kulfi offers. Harmandeep Singh raves about their Falooda Kulfi, describing it as “rich, creamy, and full of flavor” and “truly one of the best” he has ever tasted. Madhuri Aravind’s heartfelt review highlights the Khoya Kulfi Rabri Falooda as a comforting reminder of home, capturing the essence of traditional recipes made with care and precision. The staff’s warmth and efficiency, combined with the shop’s clean, inviting atmosphere, create a welcoming environment that enhances every visit — as noted by Siman Preet Kaur, who found the vibe “nice” and the service “kind and quick.” Even seasoned visitors like Gurnek Singh commend the unbeatable quality and variety.

While some might wish for an even thicker kulfi experience, as Ashwani Sehgal pointed out, the overall dedication to quality and authentic taste sets Basant Kulfi apart from typical grocery store dessert options. Here, every bite blends tradition with premium craftsmanship, making Basant Kulfi a must-visit destination for those seeking an exquisite frozen treat in Brampton.

Whether you’re indulging in a scoop of the velvety Pista, savoring a mango milkshake on a warm day, or delighting in the complex textures of their Falooda Kulfi, Basant Kulfi invites you to experience a delicious journey that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly unique.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I tried the Khoya Kulfi Rabri Falooda at Basant Cream, and it instantly brought back memories of home. The flavours were rich, authentic, and made with such care, just like the traditional desserts I grew up with. They are good store in some ways. I would suggest them to get THICKER KULFI if they have specialized ice cream/kulfi store(made by special order.) Otherwise same kulfi I could buy from grocery store for $2 & enjoy home.

Ordered late night due to a craving for authentic Indian flavors and it did not disappoint! Rajbhog Ice Cream – 5/5 Absolutely delicious! Rich, creamy, and full of traditional rajbhog taste. Perfect sweetness with a great nutty flavor. Highly recommended if you miss real Indian ice cream. Milk Badam – 4/5 Good and refreshing with nice badam & elaichi notes. Tastes fresh, though it could be slightly richer to make it even better. It does not completely taste like Indian milk badam much but not bad also definitely. Overall, great quality and authentic taste. Will definitely order again!

I visited on Saturday evening and it was quite busy. The girl working there managed everything so wonderfully. She provided very fast and efficient service with polite voice even during the heavy rush. Same as today too. I truly appreciate her dedication and professionalism.”

I had no idea they sold chocolates here, but what a find! The milk chocolate fingers/bars with freeze-dried strawberries and caramelized peanut were incredibly creamy and rich. Honestly, I’d much rather support a local spot like this for my chocolate fix than go back to the big commercial brands. 10/10 would recommend. Plus the packaging is clear and neat, perfect for gifting on its own or as part of a larger gift.
